With the completion of another year we again append a resum? from our files of the principal events which have Bury occurred in during its course. The year has been a memorable one in many respects, and one which will live in the memories of all for a long time to come.

25. At the Thingoe Petty Sessions, William Plum and William Upson, were each sentanced to one months' hard labour for assaulting Josiah Holmes, at Great Whelnetham. Two gipsies named John Lamb and George Harrison were sentenced to six weeks' hard labour for assulting Joseph Emmerson at Fornham.
