Class 1. - To the Labourer in Husbandry, receiving weekly wages, who is bringing up in a respectable manner the greatest number of Children under sixteen years of age, born in wedlock, without parochial relief, except in case of sickness, ?3. Thomas Roper, Normanton-on-Soar, eight children - also two above sixteen years of age. - Second ditto ?2. Wm. Marshall, Hoton, seven children under eleven years of age. - Third ditto, ?1. Joseph Brown, Hoton, six children, under fourteen years of age.
